June Newsletter Kids Corner

Happy June! Could it be? Summer is here!!! Happy Summer to those who are already out of school and
for the rest just a couple more weeks!!

Tip of the month: Be intentional. Remind your kids of bible truths while you or they brush their teeth
before bed!

In Sunday School we just finished up our spring curriculum with the Heroes of Faith. The Bible gives examples of people who had faith, but the true hero of the Bible is Jesus. Jesus looked forward to the joy that would come because of the cross. Because of Jesus, the things the faithful people in the Bible looked forward to will come true. We know that Jesus will come back one day because God always keeps His promises. Coming up this summer we will continue our journey from Genesis to Revelation working our way through the last remaining books and ending in Revelation in early fall.

In Children’s Church we are continuing to work our way through the Fruits of the Spirit learning last week about Faithfulness, what it means to be a faithful friend and how they can trust one another as well as ways they can show the fruit of the Spirit quality of faithfulness.

As always I am blessed to serve your children and your families.

In Christ’s Love,
Jenn Bullard

May Newsletter

Happy Almost Beginning of Summer! We are quickly barreling towards summer and might I say
warmer weather to stay! In the Children’s Department we are closing in on the last four weeks of
our Spring curriculum. Coming up this week we will be re-enforcing our children’s church study
learning about the Fruit of the Spirit. Following that we will do the Armor of God, A Cheerful
Giver and finishing out the unit with the Heroes of Faith from Hebrews 11.

In Children’s Church we are moving into our third Fruit of the Spirit this week learning about
Peace.

VBS will be August 13-17. Be on the look out in the coming days for volunteer opportunities, donation needs as well as other ways you can get involved. This VBS will be a bit different this year. While it is still the similar rotation we have done in the past this VBS will take place in the market place setting of Babylon. I am very excited to see this come together and for the kids to experience it!

Coming up this month:
May 12 All Church Family Movie Night
May 13 Mothers Day
May 20 Sunday Night Bible Study – childcare will be provided by a rotation of parents/volunteers throughout the study. Children up to 6th grade are eligible for childcare.
May 28 Memorial Day-church office closed A new feature I will be including each month are different ideas/activities you can utilize to connect with your kids.

This months idea is: Memorize a Bible verse or passage of scripture as a family.

As always I am greatly blessed to serve your children and you!

April Newsletter

Happy Spring!! I hope we are all able to finally enjoy some warmer weather!!

In Sunday School we have had a brief pause in the apostle Paul’s journey to learn about and celebrate Palm Sunday and the Resurrection. We will pick up Paul’s journey on April 8th. In Children’s Church we will be starting a new study on The Fruits of Spirit. Please continue to check in as we will be planning children & family activities in the coming months.

In the coming weeks we will be doing a bit of rearranging as well. For the time being we will be having a mostly combined Nursery which will meet in the worship care room across from the office due to limited helpers, in the effort ensure workers are out at the most one time a month. Additionally the infant nursery will be moving next door into the current Awana Cubbie Room for added space as well as utilization of resources we already have. If you have any questions about the new scheduling or how we are doing the nurseries please do not
hesitate to contact me.

I pray you all have a blessed Resurrection Sunday celebrating Our Risen Savior!

As always I am greatly blessed to serve your children and family!!

In Christ’s Love,

Jenn Bullard
